ABOUT ME

Hi there! My name is Jessica. I am a wife and mother to a quickly-growing toddler and a new baby.

I have always been passionate about reproductive rights, women, and gender studies. The transition into motherhood has relit my fire.

After a rough postpartum experience and challenging breastfeeding journey with my first baby, I have made it my mission to help other parents make the most of this amazing season of life. I believe that all families can benefit from personalized postpartum care—especially in the United States where we still do not have access to paid family leave policies.

My second pregnancy and postpartum experience was wildly different than my first. I nourished my body during pregnancy and prepared my mind for what was to come. I created a postpartum plan and assembled my village of support. I meal prepped deeply nourishing foods and held my boundaries for the first forty days. Most of all, I entered my second motherhood journey as a much stronger and healthier mother who is even more inspired to support the families around me.

My focus is on mother-centered care. I strongly believe that the health of the family relies on the health of the mother. We cannot be the mothers we want to be if we are not taken care of first. I strive to support the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of new mothers so that they can best take care of their babies and build the family they sought out to have.
